1975 - BFA in Painting, Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore Maryland

1978-1998 - Founded R. Wayne Reynolds, Ltd, a Baltimore based company that specialized in the application of gold leaf, conservation of Decorative Art Objects, and the traditional methods of carving and gilding.

1980-1984 - National Gallery of Art, Washington DC, working in the Conservation Department as a Part Time Frame Conservator treating frames from all periods in the collection.

1998-2001 - Sotheby’s Restoration, NY, as the Head of the Gilding Department, directing the staff throughout large and complex projects. 

2001-2005 - Founded Giltwood Restoration, NY a Gilding Studio providing all aspects of conservation and restoration.

2005-2015 - Julius Lowy Frame and Restoring Company, New York NY, as the Head of the Gilding Department.

RWRC was founded in 2015 and brings together an entire career of experience, contacts and perspective to efficiently solve complex problems in the Fine Arts Service sector.
